FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Will I have a long wait time?
We do our best to make every effort to help you as quickly as possible. Typically, you can expect your wait time to be anywhere between 15 minutes to an hour. With that said, walk-in clinics can often see you faster than an Emergency Room. We also have the ability to use our quick queue service and get on the virtual wait list before you arrive and we will “save your spot” in line.
Who will see me at the walk-in clinic?
You will be seen by one of our highly trained and experienced medical providers which may include a medical doctor, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner. Each of our providers have the same goal of providing the utmost care and delivering the best patient outcome.
Is the visit going to cost a lot?
We do not accept insurance, however, our walk-in visits are very affordable starting at just $29.99 for a general office visit. The cost may vary depending on the types of testing and treatments determined to be needed. All costs will be discussed with you prior to administration. We can also give you an itemized bill that you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement at the conclusion of your visit.
Can your walk-in clinic do everything an ER can?
Our walk-in clinic can treat several of the common issues which people often present to the Emergency Room with, with the walk-in visit typically being less expensive and quicker. We can share the information of your visit with your primary care provider or specialist as needed. That being said, if you’re in severe pain or require X-Rays or other imaging, please call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room.
Can your walk-in clinic do everything a primary care physician can?
Our walk-in clinic providers can see you regardless of if you have a PCP or not. We do advise, however, that you find one to provide routine care and who knows your medical history, needs, and preferences. We can gladly help with any issues that you may have and are prepared and willing to provide care on an as needed basis, but PCPs are more suited for your maintenance and annual visits.
What can I expect from my visit?
After signing in and filling out necessary intake paperwork regarding medical history and the current issue you’re experiencing, you will be called back by a medical assistant who will take your vitals and get more information from you regarding your ailment which brought you in to see us. From there, one of our highly experienced team of providers will see you and conduct any necessary examinations or diagnostic tests. After this, the provider will review your diagnosis and recommended course of treatment with you. You will be given instructions and possibly prescriptions, which you may fill at the pharmacy of your choice. If you have a PCP or specialist, your records can be sent to that provider as long as a medical release form has been signed by you.
